"Shrek Retold" is finally here. The scene by scene remake of the first Shrek film dropped last night is exactly as bizarre as one would imagine.

At 9:15 p.m., Arkadin presents Shrek Retold, a hallucinogenic scene-for-scene retelling of Shrek made by over 200 creators.

Shrek Retold isn’t the first film to be remade by enthusiastic fans. In 2009, Star Wars: A New Hope was remade by thousands of users each contributing a 15 second snippet of the film.

3GI, the group that brought you Shrekfest, and a host of bizarre videos, has brought together 200 people to create Shrek Retold.
