James Webb’s mid-infrared vision has likely captured a frigid, Saturn-mass planet shaping the dusty rings around the nearby baby star TWA 7.

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) provided the first direct image of a planet with a mass similar to Saturn's, orbiting the young star TWA 7.

Chile's Vera C. Rubin Observatory, which boasts the world's largest digital camera, has begun displaying its first images of the cosmos, allowing astronomers to figure out how the solar system formed and even whether an asteroid poses a threat to Earth.
