The Raritan Yacht Club's 79th Annual Red Grant Regatta will take place July 12-13, honoring WWII sailor Adolph "Red" Grant.

The free-admission event takes place Thursday, June 19, through Saturday, June 21. About 2,000 attend the Festa daily.

A Skyland Conference baseball game between Rutgers Prep and Bridgewater-Raritan was suspended due to thunderstorms. Bridgewater-Raritan was leading 9-1 after four innings when the game was stopped.
