Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), June 05 2025 (ANI): People take a holy dip in the river Ganga on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra - a Hindu festival, which celebrates the descent of Maa Ganga to Earth.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took the holy dip at the Sangam - the holy confluence of sacred Ganga, Yamuna and mystical Sarawasti rivers - and prayed for peace and prosperity of the nation.
