The map was prepared by the state's nonpartisan Legislative Services Agency under a new law intended to decrease county supervisors' influence in the once-every-10-years redistricting process.

In Union Township, in the northwest corner of the county, the median assessment grew more than $100,000, or 33%. North and west of Bondurant, Franklin Township experienced similar growth.
