Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George missed five games after suffering an injury to the extensor tendon in his left pinky finger on Jan. 25. Since returning to the lineup on Feb. 5, George has been playing with a splint on that finger.

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has caught a lot of heat for his most recent performance. The 9-time All-Star could only produce two points on 1-for-7 shooting in a 100-96 loss to the Brooklyn Nets as the Sixers entered the All-Star break at 20-34 and on a 5-game losing skid.

George is averaging just 10.2 points across five games in February and scored just two points against the Nets on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia 76ers kick off the second half of the season on Thursday night with a tough home matchup against the Boston Celtics. The first time these two teams met in December, the Sixers secured a key 118-114 victory, and they’ll look to replicate that success against the defending champions.
