A 6-year-old boy who was reported missing on Thursday has been found dead, the Pasco Sheriff's Office confirmed Friday.
The parents of the child said he had severe autism and was non-verbal. He was found in a nearby pond in a gated community, the parents said.
Officials say Cory Chester was last seen at around 8:45 p.m. Thursday in the Ross Lane area of New Port Richey.
