A handful of wooden fish camps, also known as 'stilt houses,' still stand tall in the Gulf of Mexico just a short boat ride away from the Pasco coast.
On Wednesday, two biological scientists from the University of Florida Institute of Food & Agriculture were trying to beat bad weather to study the aquatic preserve off the coast of Pasco County.
