World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Shane Lowry and Collin Morikawa are grouped together for the first two rounds of the 153rd British Open, beginning July 17 at Royal Portrush, in Northern Ireland. They will tee off in the first round at 5:09 a.m. (EDT) and in the second round at 10:10 a.m.

A PGA Tour golf star has been handed a ban on the eve of The Open over a disgraceful incident. On Thursday, The Open Championship will get underway at the Dunluce Course within the Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Willam Mouw, who closed with a 61 on Sunday, took home the top prize. It's the first PGA Tour win for Mouw and it came in his 20th start as pro. His career earnings coming in were $504,044 and he has now more than double that with this victory. He's the 10th first-time winner in 2025.
