The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries announced Wednesday the season for recreational hook-and-line and gig flounder harvest.

The two-week season will open for recreational hook-and-line and gig fisheries, with a one-fish-per-person-per-day creel limit and a 15-inch minimum total length limit.
