Stargazers might have another chance to see the northern lights in New York on Monday, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The aurora was visible over the state on Sunday night after a geomagnetic storm made its way over to New York from Canada.

The northern lights — also called aurora borealis — could be visible in Alaska, Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Maine, northern parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Iowa, New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.
