The City of Murfreesboro is getting creative, turning an old pipe system into something residents and visitors can enjoy.

A section of the Education Freedom Act appropriates funding for a one-time $2,000 bonus to K-12 teachers.

The lawsuit was filed in August of 2022 after the city said harmful odors and gasses were coming out of the landfill and impacting the surrounding community, as well as contaminating their water.
