The church has become active in the Parkersburg Association, which is a member of the West Virginia Baptist Convention. The church also remains in the Mt. Zion Baptist Association as well.

A special ceremony was held this afternoon at the Mt. Zion Baptist church in Steubenville. A pastoral installation was performed to officially appoint Jermaine Moore as the new bishop of the church.
