The Montana Free Press also reported of the lack of gang affiliation evidence for the men on Wednesday, including comments from two other attorneys who have also seen a lack of gang affiliation.
A month later, the criminal cases against two of the men have been dismissed, and defense attorneys say that they’ve seen no evidence that substantiates a claim of gang affiliation.
But the attorney for one of the men told Lee Montana there was no proof of any gang membership and the lack of evidence is a concerning trend around immigration enforcement in the United States.
