A popular upstate New York hiking trail has been closed for more than a month due to a stubborn bull moose refusing to move.

A young bull moose was spotted in Greeley on Tuesday and after an unsuccessful attempt to capture the large animal, he was safely relocated by wildlife officers on Wednesday.

Greeley police and Colorado Parks and Wildlife are asking people to avoid Josephine B. Jones Park after wildlife officials unsuccessfully tried to capture a moose.

The dog was with his owner when immigration agents raided a Home Depot in Southern California, animal advocates said. His owner was arrested, but a friend at the scene managed to grab the dog.
