Marvel has taken the world by storm once again with the premiere of Black Widow last weekend, after being delayed from releasing the title for over a year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Losing exclusivity to a Marvel film is a blow to theaters’ bottom lines especially when they need big movies to lure moviegoers back. But “Black Widow” isn’t skipping theaters entirely.

Marvel Studios will release Scarlett Johansson’s oft-delayed Black Widow in both theaters and via Disney+ Premier Access, which carries an additional $30 charge for Disney+ subscribers.
