The Cincinnati Reds have opened their final homestand before the All-Star break with another rain delay. The start time for Monday night's opener of a four-game series against the Miami Marlins has been delayed by adverse weather in the area. The Reds say they expect to have an update on a possible start time at about 7 p.m.
Nobody hopes this game runs smoothly more than Brady Singer, the Reds' starting pitcher for tonight's game. Singer started the aforementioned game at Fenway Park and was limited to three innings thanks to the suspension. Singer will face off against Marlins right-hander Janson Junk once this game gets going.

Cincinnati Reds catcher Jose Trevino didn't strike anyone out during his pitching appearance in the final two innings of the Reds' 12-2 loss to the Miami Marlins. Trevino did, however, manage to throw the slowest pitch of this MLB season: 31.8 miles per hour, according to Baseball Savant. He threw another pitch 33 MPH.
