Underdog Central Coast Mariners claimed their first A-League Women's title on Sunday after prevailing 5-4 in a penalty shootout over Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park.

The Seattle Mariners, as well as other Washington State sports teams, wore orange shirts to raise gun crime awareness. The shirts are now being auctioned to fans.

MSU women's basketball coach Suzy Merchant said it was a team decision to replace their normal warm-ups with teal shirts.
