Three employees at a Bangor restaurant were arrested Thursday for alleged immigration violations in an ongoing federal investigation, ICE confirmed Friday.
Bangor state Representative Amy Roeder went to the restaurant to see what was happening for herself. She disagrees with the tactics federal officials are using.
Rep. Amy Roeder (D-Bangor), who co-sponsored LD 588, said that the push to protect farmworkers will continue on. “I’m disappointed but not surprised that the governor vetoed this bill,” she said.
