Animal shelters throughout the Greater Cincinnati area are running out of space and are turning to the community for help.

Shelter supervisors are celebrating national no kill awareness day by trying to draw in big crowds to adopt and not shop.

Fayette County Animal Shelter is currently housing twice the number of dogs it was designed for and is urging the public to adopt.

Humane Society Tennessee Valley is the first animal shelter in the state of Tennessee and the first no-kill animal shelter in Knoxville. In 2025, they turn 140 years old!
