Continue past Leslie Gulch to find another boat ramp at the south end of the Owyhee Reservoir near the Slocum Creek Campground, a free first-come-first-served campground with 10 campsites.

Also look for strange rocks at Crater Lake's Pinnacles, ... Leslie Gulch, Orejana Rim have rock walls akin to Smith Rock State Park.

But even from the park's main Gordon Gulch Day-use Area, you can take in sublime scenery that looks straight out of a painting. Lake Owyhee is also a great destination for wildlife viewing.

The drive begins in Homedale, just west of the Idaho border where Idaho 19 turns into Oregon 201. A sign directs you to the left turn onto Succor Creek Road to Succor Creek State Park.
