Selena Gomez has come under fire from fans who aren't happy that she is going to reprise an iconic role from her past as they admit they do not want to see it

The spinoff launched on Disney Channel and Disney+ in Oct. 2024 and starred Gomez’s original series’ costar, Henrie. The new series sees Justin adjusting to living with mortality. Alex introduces him to a young wizard-in-training, Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown), who needs his help. Gomez appeared in two episodes of the show’s first season.
