Remains found in a wooded area of DeBary in 1997 have now been identified through forensic genetic genealogy, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.

When the homicide occurred 52 years ago, the victim was unidentified and buried in a pauper’s grave. Detectives were able to determine the identity of his killers. All parties involved are deceased.
