Jefferson County election officials said human error is to blame in the primary shakeup that has likely knocked longtime city council member Lisa Ruggiero off November’s ballot.

JEFFERSON CITY – Vickie Boedeker, the former Wentzville mayor hoping to fill Rep. Chuck Gatschenberger’s seat, was one of 16 candidates for the Missouri House removed from the ballot Wednesday.
