The conflict between Israel and Iran has wreaked considerable damage in both countries and caused casualties on both sides.

Iran and Israel continued on Sunday their aerial attacks, which began Friday with a series of Israeli strikes on Iran.

"American Forces are maintaining their defensive posture & that has not changed," the chief Pentagon spokesperson said.

Israel says it first bombed Iran to stop it from being able to produce nuclear weapons and the “existential threat” they would represent.

Iran and Israel continued to exchange attacks into Monday amid the latest round of conflict between the two nations.

Israel's air force achieved a "remarkable feat," said William Freer, a research fellow for national security at the U.K.-based Council on Geostrategy.

Gaige Fogle, who recently moved to South Florida, fills up every few days at an Orion gas station on North Miami Avenue in Little Haiti, where prices were holding steady at $2.79 a gallon. "I don't really get good gas mileage in a 2000 Mustang," Fogle said.

The conflict between Israel and Iran has forced many countries in the Middle East to close their airspace, as Israeli jets and Iranian exploding drones and missiles fly over their night skies.
