A wearable ultrasound “sticker” that enables high-quality, continuous medical imaging of internal organs and tissues for up to 48 hours has been developed by researchers from MIT.
From the sticker’s collected data, the researchers observed clear and early signs of pharmacologically induced acute liver failure in the animals, which they later confirmed with tissue samples.
