Nigerian star Tems has announced the release date for her much-anticipated debut album, Born In The Wild. “This is my most special moment,” she wrote on Twitter (never calling it “X”).
Last year, Tems released a pair of new singles, “Me & U” and “Not an Angel.” In 2020, Tems released her first EP, For Broken Ears, then followed that up in 2021 with If Orange Was a Place.
Much like early tracks off her impressive EPs — 2020’s For Broken Ears and 2021’s If Orange Was a Place — Tems wrote, produced and engineered most of Born in the Wild herself.
Just a few days after kicking off NPR’s Black Music Month with an amazing Tiny Desk Performance, the Nigerian superstar debuts her highly anticipated debut album, Born In The Wild.
