In a major announcement related to medical care, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said Thursday the city’s new hospital is due to open in just a couple of months.

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, a new $434.4 million hospital, has wrapped construction and will begin seeing patients April 15.
