Nearly 145 hens in the middle of a walnut orchard is not something you see every day, but the brood of hardworking ladies has a big job at Chinchiolo Farming in Linden.

A tractor-trailer, which was hauling hogs for Smithfield Foods, was overturned while traveling eastbound on Route 40 on Monday, according to Virginia State Police.
