William Charles Franklin, 36, of Tennille, Georgia, has been found guilty of multiple federal charges, including a hate crime enhancement, after threatening and attacking a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier.

Investigators said the Georgia man intentionally sought out to harm the letter carrier after a confrontation six months earlier.

Among the threats directed at the letter carrier, the man said he’d run the carrier over with his tractor, officials said.
