Too many of West Virginia's roads and bridges are in deplorable condition. That's no secret to anyone who lives in -- or even drives through -- the Mountain State.

The West Virginia Nature Conservancy said that the Dobbins Slashings Preserve in Tucker County is now open during daylight hours.
