Snap-on Inc. and Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc. have agreed to dismiss a lawsuit over the floor jacks sold by Harbor Freight. The terms of the settlement were not immediately disclosed publicly.
In 2016, Harbor Freight released a floor jack that was a lot like one from Snap-on, but at a lower price. Snap-on thought it was a little too similar, though.
The jacks in question include a model marketed by Harbor Freight as the “Daytona 3 Ton Super Duty Floor Jack,” which Snap-on says resembles its own 3-ton rated model, the FJ300.
