On Saturday, July 26, the local community is invited to a free family fun day at Hamble Sports Complex.

San Diego's Parks After Dark program is bringing free activities, food and more to city parks this summer for families.

Youth in the Outdoors Day is for kids ages 6 to 16. It runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at Ravenwood Lodge, 10147 SW 61st St.

Last month, the members competed in such games as football, basketball, 100m dash, 4x100m relay, amongst other fun events such as spoon and egg race, sack race, and tug of war.
