Ozinga broke ground on an East Chicago plant that's being billed as North America’s largest low-carbon cement mill.

Nearly 1,500 workers in the Chicago area will be laid off in coming weeks according to a state agency.

Equipped with what's planned to be North America’s largest vertical roller mills, the plant is designed to produce one million tons of low-carbon cementitious materials annually.
