Meanwhile, Apple will launch a new all-in-one games app later this year called Apple Games. This is aimed at streamlining all of your games, whether purchased or accessible from an Apple Arcade subscription. In fact, Apple says that Emoji Game will be found in Apple Games as well when the app arrives this fall.

Announced as part of iOS 26, due out in September, "Emoji Game" has instead been launched to mark July 17's World Emoji Day — and for iPhones running iOS 18.
