A trio of firefighters tasked with battling a large wildfire in Interior Alaska were injured Friday morning in a boating incident, state officials said.

Three people evaded injury following an early Monday evening fire that fully engulfed a boat in the Little Emporia subdivision area of Lake Gaston in Northampton County.
