BRIDGEPORT—Exit 27A on I-95 northbound in Bridgeport was closed for several hours Saturday after a dump truck rolled over, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Reported just before 3 p.m., the crash shut down the Exit 27A off-ramp to Route 8 northbound, the department said. Motorists were advised to take Exit 27 as an alternative to reach Route 8.

A car fire that closed Interstate 95 North to the Route 8 North ramp in Bridgeport on Wednesday morning has cleared. According to CT Roads, the highway was closed at exit 27A on I-95 northbound.
