The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa has promoted Liz Kurtt as its chief financial officer and Nicole Stuart to the director of finance.

It was a standing-room-only crowd at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cedar Rapids as former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigeg spoke.
