Students from across San Diego who went to Cuyamaca Outdoor School were delighted by the snow and enjoyed learning hands on science lessons.

The San Diego County Office of Education encouraged people to get outside and enjoy nature Wednesday in honor of the Cuyamaca Outdoor School's 75th year in operation.

Students who were enjoying sixth grade camp at Cuyamaca Outdoor School got a snowy surprise. For some, it was their first time playing in snow.
