A vehicle struck a child Thursday morning in Concord. The child was riding a bicycle on West Street near South State Street when they were struck around 8:10 a.m. The child was seriously injured. It's not believed the injuries are life-threatening. Concord police closed South State Street for about two blocks in each direction.
