Just like the Timberline, and much of the Explorer lineup, the 2.3-liter turbocharged I4 comes standard under the hood. This 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder sends 300 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Explorer Tremor also gets handsome visual upgrades from bright LED off-road lights across a new grille to 'Electric Spice' orange details.

The Explorer joins the Maverick, F-150, Expedition, and F-250 Super Duty in the current Tremor lineup. Australian buyers can also get a Tremor variant of the mid-sized Everest, but sadly, that SUV is not available on the American market.
