Part of this offseason must have felt like déjà vu for Brian Hartline. On Jan. 13, 2023, head coach Ryan Day promoted Hartline to Ohio State's offensive coordinator.
However, Hartline was born in Canton, Ohio, and he spent his collegiate days at Ohio State, before having a seven-year NFL career, six of those being spent with the Miami Dolphins.
Brian Hartline again has the offensive coordinator title for Ohio State. But unlike two years ago, it's not just a title. He'll call the plays now.
“As long as Ryan Day and Brian Hartline are coaching at Ohio State, I think that’s kind of become the norm,” co-host Stefan Krajisnik said of the recruiting success at receiver and quarterback.
