The Catholic Church dedicates the entire month of May to the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God and spiritual mother of all.

"My Body My Choice" was painted in red outside Ascension Catholic School along with a Blessed Virgin Mary statue defaced in red on the property at Church of the Ascension in Overland Park.
