The annual Kennedy Center Honors took place in December, and Rubenstein saluted Biden, who was in the audience, for being “gracious hosts” and attending the show for four years.

The Kennedy Center Honors have been bestowed upon notable figures in the arts, from James Brown to Lucille Ball, since 1978. In 2022, eight people have been named as honorees.
