AMC Theatres is issuing a warning to moviegoers that their movies may not actually start at their listed showtimes.

(CNN) — Moviegoers headed to their local AMC theater can expect to see more ads before movies starting on Tuesday as a deal with ad giant National CineMedia takes effect.

A representative from AMC confirmed that HVAC issues led to the temporary closure. The bad news: there isn’t an immediate timeline for when Bloomington’s only multiplex theater will reopen.

AMC Theaters is offering a pair of souvenirs to mark the June 20 release of Disney and Pixar’s "Elio." The theater chain unveiled a limited-edition Elio Tin and Glorp Vessel.

While AMC expressed it was reluctant to bring this to theaters, the company also said its competitors have fully participated for more than five years, without any direct impact to their attendance.
