C.E. King High School's (KHS) TX-963 Air Force (AF) JROTC unit was recently named by the AF Selection Board to receive the 2003-04 JROTC Distinguished Unit Award.

To make his point, Rego said the graduation rate at Waianae High School is 67 percent, but within his JROTC program it is 100 percent, a statistic that goes back more than 10 years.
