The weekend tornado that killed three people in rural Enderlin was the most deadly North Dakota has seen in nearly five decades.
The tornado near Enderlin derailed a dozen empty train tanker cars, and a large derailment of grain cars was reported in Traill County in eastern North Dakota, according to the governor's office.
Officials confirmed damage to an estimated 10-15 homes in Bay Ranch and 40-50 homes in Ranchero Village, ranging from minor to severe conditions.
