In a 3-round middleweight bout on the main card, Kelvin Gastelum and Joe Pyfer meet Saturday at UFC 316 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

For Kelvin Gastelum, he’s back at 185 after failing to make weight in his last welterweight matchup. In that fight, he took on Daniel Rodriguez and picked up a decision win. Joe Pyfer was looking to win his second in a row after he lost his first fight inside the octagon to Jack Hermansson.

Joe Pyfer scored a couple of knockdowns but couldn’t quite crack Kelvin Gastelum’s legendary chin so he had to settle for a unanimous decision in at UFC 316. The first round saw Pyfer put Gastelum down twice with the same overhand right that just kept landing with devastating power.
