Delaware County authorities are investigating after a person was taken to the hospital following a shooting at The Shops At Springfield Park.

Police are still searching for a suspect after a shooting erupted at a busy shopping center in Delaware County over the weekend.

Springfield Township police responded to a shooting on Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of Springfield Park Shopping Center. They received the call shortly after 4 p.m. and said later in the afternoon, “This is an active investigation and we are confident there is not an active threat to our community.”
