The New York Times introduced Strands, its newest puzzle game. Strands challenges players to find themed words on a grid, including a special Spangram. The theme for June 6, 2025, is 'String's attached'.

By providing an opaque hint and not providing the word list, Strands creates a brain-teasing game that takes a little longer to play than its other games, like Wordle and Connections.
